Long term permission was gained in early 2021 from Glasgow Harbour, the land owners. The garden is on a former shipbuilding site. It has shallow and poor soil with robust grass species established. Permission was given for a community garden where we wanted to create a place for nature, we called it The Bee Garden, a place for people and pollinators.
